Get your Shop On!

After work on Tuesday, alii, Steph, and I drove to the Grove and let loose. What a nice break from the work week routine. (Sometimes we all need it). We made our way to the Michael Kors store and that's where I saw it... The watch I had been looking for was staring right at me from behind the glass screaming, "Take me home with you, Ale!" So I did. My new gold and navy love is a perfect addition to my armfuego.

Steph also left the Grove with new additions to her closet; she found some goodies at Madewell and just couldn't resist. She even bought alii and I new arm fuego!

We ended our night with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory (always a safe choice) and went straight to Sprinkles for dessert. Those cupcakes are a-mazing!

LBC Secret Treasures

This past weekend, I was able to finally visit Make Collections and La Femme Vintage in Long Beach. My sister, Steph, came across these stores on Instagram not too long ago and we've been wanting to check them out since. It's really two stores in one: Make Collectives carries vintage furniture and vinyls, while La Femme Vintage carries vintage clothes and accessories. We have been dying to score on one of their vintage Chanel purses, but they sell out so fast, it's kind of impossible to get our hands on one. We went into the store hoping we would get lucky, but unfortunately they were sold out. We did, however, order custom made necklaces that a local jewelry designer makes for the store. Stephanie got her name and I, of course, got the blog's initials. We also purchased a few handmade cards that were too awesome to pass up. Overall, I really liked these stores; they're well organized and stocked up with some amazing vintage pieces. Oh, and we got a chance to meet one of the owners and her adorable 10 month old son. Such a cutie pie!
