Black 'n White, Salt 'n Pepa

So I subconsciously paired my Salt 'n Pepa cut-off tee with my black and white jeans...  It doesn't mean much, but I realized it while thinking of a title for this blog post and thought it was kind of funny.

A casual chic combo is my typical look for a bar night or a dinner date with a pal.   I glammed up an otherwise casual outfit with a blingy statement necklace, some armfuego, and black platforms. I try to throw in a little glam to give my outfit a "going out" feel without the skirt or dress.  I usually stick to shorts or pants, so that's my way of adding a more feminine touch.

Azul Marino

Ale and I had a blast shooting our outfit of the day this past weekend! My sister, Tanya, was sweet enough to take pictures of us with her new Canon Rebel T4i camera. Thank you, sister! You're the best!!!



Navy blue and white is one of my favorite color combinations besides black on black, of course.  This navy blue blazer has been in my closet for a few years now.  It can look a bit too dressy or business-like if it isn't paired with the right outfit.  I like to throw it over a pair of jeans or denim shorts and a t-shirt.  It's my go-to blazer when I want to dress up a casual look.

Rocking Out at Moss and Rock

Moss and Rock (M&R) is hands down the raddest boutique in the LBC. From the moment you walk in, the artwork and vintage furniture pieces inspire you to crawl out of your shell and try something funky, fresh, and cool.

The owner of M&R, Cat, has to be one of the most creative gals we've met. Check out the outfits she put together for me and alii. Looks like someone was feeling the 90's...
